This 1981 Jeep Scrambler (CJ8) is AMC V8 powered with an automatic transmission. Painted less than a year ago, this Jeep has a recently rebuilt transmission, brand new carb, triple core radiator (keeps it cool in hot Florida weather) and less than 4,000 miles on its BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires. Full top and doors, spare tire rack and extra seat in the bed make this Jeep (largest ever built by Jeep) a true collectors item. Diamond plating along the running boards and rear corners add to it appeal. Stainless hinges and mirrors, high back seats, tilt steering column, new exhaust system, new motor mounts, new ignition and headers all part of the package. This Jeep sounds great. The Jeep has stock axles, new springs, power steering and cruise control (after market). There were not a lot of CJ8s built, even fewer in 1981 and even less had AMC V8 and auto. Own one of the rarest Jeeps in the world.
